Fort Benjamin State Park brings hundreds of visitors to the Fort each day through its beautiful 18 hole golf course which is ranked number one in the Midwest. The Hoosier Mountain Biking Association has mapped out a 10 mile mountain biking trail

Lawrence Soccer Complex - Twenty one soccer fields within Lawrence Park surround the Finance Center. From early Spring to late Fall, thousands of soccer players and their families descend on the Lawrence Soccer Complex nightly and on weekends. FC Pride calls the Complex home with a roster of over 400 kids, 62% of who live outside of the Lawrence area. With soccer practice lasting on average 90 minutes, these families are forced to wait in their cars before they travel home to Fishers, Noblesville, Carmel, Zionsville, and beyond.

Benjamin Harrison YMCA - A 13,000 member YMCA since 1997. Membership stats: 53% female; 47% male. Ages: Under 18 – 45%; Adults 18 to 54 – 46%; Adults 55+ - 9%.  Average daily visits – 663 people. Employs over 175.

Lawrence Skate Park - Lawrence Community Park offers the neighborhood a state of the art Skate Park equipped with ramps, lighting and extra parking. The Lawrence Skate Park is the only skate park on the east side of the Greater Indianapolis area.

Marathons, Bike Races, Festivals - The first of its kind in the State, the Indianapolis Marathon and Mini-Marathon is an annual event that starts in the heart of historic Fort Benjamin Harrison. Over 5,000 people from 42 states visit Lawrence each year for this 2-day event. Planet Adventure has started calling the Fort home with its annual unique road bike courses and inline skating events. The City of Lawrence hosts an annual 4th of July festival at the Fort which include fireworks, nightly bands, and carnival rides.
